Morning maniac music

Shakes me awake

Those who brought hope

Mired in hate.

…..

Over the mountain,

clouds scud away,

blood on the floor

will not fade away.

……..

Blood over the water,

blood over the seas,

lots of poor people

stuck on their knees

begging for sanctuary,

told to say please!

…….

Christendom fallen,

collapsed from within,

In our hearts,

Nothing but sin.

……

Rotted from within

Sin.

……….

Deep, deep this vortex of sin.

He who tries to speak out

just cannot win.

………

Children’s blood splattered

splattered on the ground

no crystal ball required

just look around:

wars over water

millions pray for rain

plastics seep, seep into sea,

again and again

pollution for free

…..

Ashes in our mouths,

nothing left the same,

nowhere to flee,

and no-one to blame
