Hello Marta. Recently I’ve been reading about the Jewish community in Warsaw and rural Poland in the late nineteenth century. More particularly, I’ve been reading through the work of Isaac Bashevis Singer (Yiddish: יצחק באַשעװיס זינגער; November 21, 1902 — July 24, 1991) who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1978. The Polish form of his birth name was Icek Hersz Zynger. Isacc He once wrote: We have to believe in free-will. We’ve got no choice. Such a pithy remark! I just wondered if you were familiar with his work. Like many other Yiddish writers he has a very quick wit and is very funny. I think writing comedy is sooooo difficult…so well done!
