Layers of the past
intertwine in memory,
tangling the day and night,
how we interpret them,
or even sort them out,
is up to us, I guess,
who knows for sure?
Only those who were there
in 2025 when we lost the last
of the emperors? Maybe.
It’s a fucking tragedy.
That’s all I know.
